Bauhaus was an English Goth rock band formed 1978 in Northampton, England. The group consisted of Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, Kevin Haskins and David J. The band's sound melded Gothic, Post-punk, Dub and Glam elements to become one of the leading Goth-Rock bans of the era. The classic single Bela Lugosi's Dead defined their sound. Outstanding albums include In The Flat Field, The Sky's Gone Out and Swing The Heartache: The BBC Sessions.
