The final AC/DC album to feature the unforgettable Bon Scott up front on vocals. It sold over 10 million copies worldwide till today and peaked on number 17 in the american album charts, which was by far the highest position an AC/DC album ever reached in the USA back then. With this album AC/DC transformed themselves from an underground phenomenon to a big selling rock act. Bon died in February 1980 and the band released their next album Back in Black, in memory of Bon, later that same year. Highway to Hell, along with Let There be Rock and Powerage, is the classic early period AC/DC album.
