We're Only in it For The Money was the Third studio album by Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention, released 1968. What can one say about the irrepressible Mr Zappa? Of course he was in it for the money, but he was also in it for the brilliant music and the cultural anarchy he could stir up. This album has been described variously as "artsy fartsy high-brow parody" through to "one of the most brilliant psychedelic albums ever made". Of course it is all this and more. This album, and many of Frank's other masterpieces, just keep getting better with time.
