Ellas McDaniel aka Bo Diddley was an American singer, guitarist, songwriter and music producer born 1928 in McComb, Mississippi. He played a key role in the cross-over of the blues and rock and roll, influencing many artists, including Elvis Presley, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
