Aphex Twin aka Richard David James, is an Irish musician born 1971 in Limerick. He is best known for his ambient techno and IDM work during the 1990s on the Warp label. He is a highly regarded figure in contemporary electronic music. All Aphex Twin's albums to-date are highly recommended: Selected Ambient Works 85-92 (1992), Selected Ambient Works Volume II (1994), I Care Because You Do (1995), Richard D. James Album (1996), drukqs (2001) and the latest 2014 release, Syro.
