Brian Joseph Burton aka "Danger Mouse" is an American musician, songwriter and record producer born 1977 in White Plains New York. He came to prominence in 2004 when he released The Grey Album, which combined vocal performances from Jay-Z's The Black Album with instrumentals from The Beatles' White Album. Burton has been involved with myriad projects as a soloist and in collaboration with a wide variety of name musicians. He formed Gnarls Barkley with CeeLo Green, as well Danger Doom with MF Doom. He has produced albums for Gorillaz, The Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Norah Jones. He has released four excellent albums as Danger Mouse in collaboration with other artists: The Mouse and the Mask (with MF Doom), Dark Night of the Soul (with Sparklehorse), Rome (with Daniele Luppi) and Lux Prima (with Karen O).
