The Chemical Brothers are an English electronic dance music duo formed 1989 in Manchester by Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons. Along with The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim and The Crystal Method, they were pioneers at bringing the big beat genre to the forefront of pop culture. Originally called The Dust Brothers, the duo made their mark as resident DJs at The Heavenly Sunday Social Club in London. They then established themselves with their debut album Exit Planet Dust, which featured Beth Orton on vocals, plus their remix of tracks on The Stone Roses' Second Coming album. The duo became immensely popular on the dance club and festival circuit. Outstanding albums include Exit Planet Dust, Dig Your Own Hole, Surrender and the 2019 release No Geography.
