The Ozark Mountain Daredevils are an American Southern-Country Rock band formed 1972 in Springfield, Missouri, by Michael "Supe" Granda (vocals, bass, guitar, mandolin, percussion), Steve Cash (vocals, percussion, harmonica, keyboards), John Dillon (vocals, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, harmonica, autoharp, dulcimer, percussion, keyboards), Larry Lee (drums, percussion, guitar, synthesizer, vocals), Randle Chowning (lead guitar, mandolin, vocals), Elizabeth Anderson (guitar, vocals), Bill Jones (flute, horns) and Rick Campanelli (piano). After undergoing many changes the present day lineup includes original members Granda, Dillon and Jones, plus Ruell Chappell (keyboards, vocals), Ron Gremp (drums, percussion), Dave Painter (lead guitar, vocals), Kelly Brown (keyboards) and Nick Sibley (guitar, mandolin, vocals). They produce a unique mixture of Southern Rock, Country and Bluegrass styles. With a catalogue of 14 studio albums, their first two excellent releases The Ozark Mountain Daredevils and It'll Shine When it Shines are excellent, other standouts include The Car Over The Lake Album and It's Alive!. The single "If You Wanna Get to Heaven" from their first album, is a perennial crowd favourite.
