Harry Steilus discusses Free's self-titled 2nd album. Coming before the hit single 'All Right Now', this was the album that solidified Free's unique blues/rock/pop sound. And it highlighted the brilliance of the young players Paul Kossoff, Andy Fraser, Paul Rodgers & Simon Kirke.

The Masters Apprentices recorded 'Choice Cuts' at Abbey Road studios in 1971 but due to lack of support from their record company, were forced to return to Australia and missed the chance to launch this classic album.
