Rage Against the Machine aka RATM was an American band formed 1991 in Los Angeles, California. The group lineup is vocalist Zack de la Rocha, bassist and backing vocalist Tim Commerford, guitarist Tom Morello, and drummer Brad Wilk. Since 2015 the band has been an on-off project under the name Prophets of Rage. RATM developed a strong following for their blend of Metal, Hip Hop and Punk musical styles and revolutionary political stance. Outstanding albums include the classic Rage Against The Machine, and The Battle of Los Angeles.
