Arcade Fire "Neon Bible"

LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Merge Records, US, 2017, MRG 285, 889854624613, 2xLP (3 Sides), 150g Vinyl, Gatefold Sleeve

Neon Bible is the second studio album by the Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire, released in 2007 on Merge Records. The majority of the album was recorded at a church the band bought and renovated in Farnham, Quebec. The album is the first to feature drummer Jeremy Gara, and the first to include violinist Sarah Neufeld among the band's core line-up. Another plus is the use of church organ which gives gives added depth to tracks such as the majestic "Antichrist Television Blues". Coming three years after their superb debut Funeral, and a further three years before their third album The Suburbs, Neon Bible is another masterful release from this band which, uncommonly, does live up to all the hype surrounding them. This is a double LP with three playable sides and a fourth laser etched side. Any fan of their acclaimed debut album Funeral will not be disappointed with this second offering Neon Bible.
