Riviere.. Ouvre von lit, translated in English as "River.. Open Your Bed" is the sixth studio album from French rocker Johnny Hallyday, first released in 1969. Hallyday brought Stevie Marriott and The Small Faces over from England to be his backing band on this album, to give it a genuine psychedelic pop sound. Additional guitarists Jimmy Page and Micky Jones (from Man) were added on several guitar sessions, making it an all-star lineup. many critics view this as Hallyday's best 'rock' album, before he slid back into a more cheesy French pop mode. Well worth having for Hallyday's performance but also to pick out the big name contributors in the studio.
