LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Notes on a Journey, Germany, 2020, NOAJ006, 4062548005431, 180g Vinyl, Remastered, Gatefold Tip-on Sleeve

Humphrey is the sole album released by the South African band in 1971. The band was founded by singer-songwriting trio Lisa Hogarth, Robin Hogarth and Robbie Kallenbach. Recorded in Johannesburg in Jan 1971, the result is a unique soft rock/folk rock/pop psych sound with vocal harmonies and beautiful melodies that echo the sound of the late '60s. All songs are self-penned and the string & horn arrangements were contributed by Zane Cronje. The album had minor local success but remained unknown to the rest of the world. Reissued by German label Notes on a Journey, after 49 years of its original release.
