Creedence Clearwater Revival aka CCR was an American rock band formed 1967 in the San Francisco Bay area. The lineup was lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter John Fogerty, his brother rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty, bassist Stu Cook, and drummer Doug Clifford. They played a blend of American heartland rock with southern/swamp blues influences. CCR played at Woodstock and recorded some of the most iconic American rock music of their era. Their first five albums recorded between 1968-1970 are classics: Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bayou Country, Green River, Willy and the Poor Boys and Cosmo's Factory.
