The Dead Kennedys is an American punk rock band formed 1978 in San Francisco, California, by Jello Biafra, East Bay Ray, Klaus Flouride and Ted. 6025 was briefly the guitarist in their first lineup. The Kennedys were leftist punks who's songs harshly satirised established political figures. They were one of the first American hardcore bands to make a significant impact in the UK. Their first two albums Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables and Plastic Surgery Disasters are American punk classic, as are the singles California Über Alles and Holiday in Cambodia.
