Family "Bandstand"

LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Madfish, UK, 2012, SMALP 989, 180g Vinyl, Remastered, Limited Edition, Numbered/2000, Die-cut Sleeve w/ Plastic Window

Family's Bandstand album released 1972 on the Reprise label had a Die-cut sleeve design shaped like an old TV with a plastic 'screen' window.

Bandstand is the Seventh album from UK progressive rock band Family, released in 1972. After a series of superb earlier albums, all of which displayed the idiosyncratic sound and superb musicianship characteristic of Family, Bandstand was one of the band's most commercially successful albums. With more of a classic rock sound than the progressive jazz-rock sound of much of their early work, Bandstand is full of great songs, great playing by Messrs Palmer, Townsend, Wetton and Whitney, and, of course, the unmistakable vocals of Roger Chapman.
