Freedom is the second studio album by UK progressive heavy-rock trio Freedom, originally released in 1970 on the Probe label. Freddom were ex-Procol Harum members Ray Royer and Bobby Harrison, who had performed on the hit Procol Harum's hit "A Whiter Shade of Pale", plus Steve Shirley and Tony Marsh. This is an excellent collection of bluesy hard rock and heavy psych with great songs and very good musicianship, particularly the great guitar work from Roger Saunders. This power trio drive out a set of consistently good songs with that special early 70's sound recorded at Trident Studio and engineered by Roy Thomas Baker.
