Guitar Wolf is a Japanese garage rock power trio founded 1987 in Tokyo by Seiji (guitar), Narita (drums) and Billy (bass). Toru and U.G. are the current drummer and bassist for the band, which is known for songs with piercing vocals and an extremely loud style of noise-influenced punk which emphasizes heavy distortion and feedback. Their music is an energetic cross between Ramones and Link Wray played garage rock/punk style. The band has appeared in a number of films including "The Sore Losers" and zombie horror movie "Wild Zero". They also have their own clothing label called "Jet Clothing" are signed to Jack White's Third Man Records. Outstanding albums include Planet of the Wolves, Rock 'n' Roll Etiquette, Dead Rock, Beast Vibrator, T-Rex From a Tiny Space Yojouhan, Love & Jett and the compilation Golden Black.
