The Voice of Love is the second album from Manhattan NYC based electronic musician Julee Cruise, released in 1993 following the critical success of her debut album Floating Into the Night. Immortalised by her appearances in Twin Peaks, Julee Cruise has been making music since the 80s and her collaborations with David Lynch are well known. On Lynch's Blue Velvet soundtrack Cruise provided the memorable song “Mysteries of Love”. Floating, by far her most well known project, features such legendary tracks as “Falling” (the Twin Peaks theme), “The World Spins” and the aforementioned “Mysteries”. But four years later, The Voice of Love, her underrated follow-up album almost matches the consistency of the debut.
