He also produced the award-winning soundtracks of the films O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Walk the Line, the 2005 bio-pic of Johnny Cash, and the country music film Crazy Heart starring Jeff Bridges. Among his accomplishments, Burnett is a talented golfer, he played in Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Review band, and he has issued many excellent solo recordings.
