Is This Real? is the debut studio album from US punk legends Wipers, originally released 1979 on Park Avenue Records. Hailing from Portland Oregon, this three-piece outfit led by guitarist & vocalist Greg Sage, released three classic US punk albums: Is This real? (1979), Youth of America (1981) and Over The Edge (1983). They delivered great Ramones style punk rock with a post-punk dark edge. With high quality songwriting and hooks galore, there is also intense menace in their sound. A dark, catchy, weird 'n' grungy punk attack from this highly influential but little known US band. Essential for punk aficionados.
