ZZ Top is an American rock trio formed 1969 in Houston, Texas. The lineup is vocalist/guitarist Billy Gibbons, bassist/vocalist Dusty Hill, and drummer Frank Beard. Frank Beard is the one without the beard. The band plays boogie blues-rock that has crossed over into mainstream rock audiences, but retains much of its Texas blues roots. Outstanding albums include Tres Hombres, Fandango!, Degüello, Eliminator and La Futura.
