Live and Direct by UK based roots reggae band Aswad is a fantastic live album recorded in Meanwhile Gardens at Notting Hill Carnival 1983. This recording is regarded by many critics as one of the best live reggae albums ever - right up there with Bob Marley & The Wailers Live! The performance and sound is energetic and powerful, the songs are great and the album plays through well. Recommended.
