Beaver & Krause were an American musical duo comprising Paul Beaver and Bernie Krause formed 1967 in Los Angeles, California. The two met doing session work and decided to collaborate based on their mutual interest in the emerging field of electronic music, of which they were pioneers. They purchased one of the first synthesisers from Robert Moog and acted as Moog's sales representatives on the US West Coast. It was in this capacity that they introduced many rock musicians such as The Monkees, The Byrds, The Doors, George Harrison and George Martin to the Synthesiser as a musical instrument. Their 1967 album The Nonesuch Guide to Electronic Music was a pioneering work in the electronic music genre. Other standout albums include In a Wild Sanctuary, Gandharva and All Good Men.
