Blonde Redhead | Artist
Blonde Redhead is an American alternative rock band formed 1993 in New York City by Kazu Makino and Italian-born twin brothers Simone and Amedeo Pace. The band's early sound was noise rock but has changed direction over time towards shoegaze and art-rock. For recordings they have used three different bass players but none has become a permanent member. Their early albums are on the 4AD label but their ninth and (to-date) latest album Barragán was self-financed and issued by Kobalt. Standout albums include Fake Can be Just as Good, Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons, Misery is a Butterfly and 23.
