Bob Weir is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter born 1947 in San Francisco, California. At Sixteen Weir met Jerry Garcia and the two formed a band which was to become The Warlocks and eventually the Grateful Dead. As side projects, Weir worked with bands Kingfish and Bobby & The Midnites, and as a soloist. Outstanding albums include Ace, Bobby & The Midnites and Blue Mountain
