Destroy All Monsters was an American band formed 1973 in Detroit. The lineup was Mike Kelley, Jim Shaw and Lyn Rovner aka Niagara, who were all art students at the University of Michigan. Later members were Ron Asheton of the Stooges and Michael Davis of the MC5. The band existed from 1973-1985 and their sound was a punk, psychedelic, heavy metal and noise rock hybrid. Niagara is an accomplished performance and graphic artist. Their best work is collected on the excellent Hot Box 1974-1994 compilation.
