DM3 is an Australian power pop band formed 1992 in Perth by Dom Mariani (vocals, guitar), with Pascal Bartolone (drums) and Tony Italiano (bass, vocals). Mariani was previously the frontman for The Stems as well as a soloist and leader of other side projects. After The Stems, Mariani formed power jangle-pop band The Someloves, who released one superb album Something or Other, then split in 1990. DM3 was active between 1992-99 and released three excellent studio albums plus EPs and Singles. After the band split Mariani went on to form Dom Mariani & The Majestic Kelp, as well as record several solo albums. Outstanding DM3 albums include One Time Two Times Three Red Light, Road to Rome and Rippled Soul. The 1997 archival release Garage Sale is a good collection of b-sides and remixes.
