Ginger Wildheart is an English rock guitarist, singer and songwriter born 1964 in South Shields, UK. He began his professional career as a guitarist in The Quireboys, but is best known for later having formed and led The Wildhearts. In addition, he has released a number of solo albums and been involved in many other musical collaborations including Super$hit 666, Clam Abuse, Silver Ginger 5, Brides of Destruction, Ginger & The Sonic Circus and Michael Monroe Band. Standout solo albums include Valor del corazón, Yoni, 555% and Grievous Acoustic Behaviour: Live at the 12 Bar. Ginger donates much of his recording revenue to the Shelter charity for homelessness.
