His 'n' Hers is the fourth studio album by Pulp and was the first to be released on a major label. It was originally released in 1994 and together with its follow-up Different Class it is considered to be one of the highlights of '90s Britpop. The album contains their first top 40 hit on the UK Singles Chart, "Do You Remember The First Time?", a classic example of singer Jarvis Cocker's songwriting skills. Switching between guitar and keyboards, the album's sound is never less than perfect and the music and vocals mutually compliment each other. As for the lyrics, there are songs about sexual frustration, sexual fetishes, sexual conquests and sexual joyriding, giving us some insight into the mind of frontman and songwriter extraordinaire Jarvis Cocker.
