v.Spy v.Spy also known as Spy v Spy was an Australian ska/pub rock band formed 1981 in Sydney by Craig Bloxom (bass, vocals), Mike Weiley (guitar, vocals) and Cliff Grigg (drums). The band cut their teeth playing the Sydney pub and club circuit, often supporting INXS. At their peak they supported The Clash and U2 in Australia. They played ska-influenced indie rock with song themes tackling political issues such as racism, homelessness and contemporary drug culture. They disbanded in 2003 having released 9 studio albums and numerous excellent EP's and Singles. Their first two albums, Harry's Reasons? and A.O. Mod. T.V. Vers. are considered to be their best albums. Other outstanding releases include Xenophobia Why?, Meet us Inside (EP) and the compilation of their early work The Early Cases.
