Sixth studio album from Memphis based soul man O.V. Wright, originally released on Hi Records in 1977. Overton Vertis Wright was one of the lesser known US soul giants from the late '60s-'70s period. He released Nine albums of consistently excellent deep southern soul music, and Into Something, Can't Shake Loose is one of the best. With Willie Mitchell in the producer's chair and backed by The Memphis Horns and The Memphis Strings, along with a crack studio session outfit, this is some of the finest southern soul music you ever will hear. Also the rear sleeve photo of O.V. in his suit is worth the album price alone - get down!
