Hollie Cook is a British reggae singer and keyboardist born 1987 in London. The daughter of Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook, Hollie has become one of the UK's best new generation reggae/lover's rock artists. Before going solo in 2010 she was part of the last line-up of all-female punk/reggae band The Slits. She has worked with producers Prince Fatty and Youth, and to-date released four studio albums. The first, Hollie Cook, is excellent and the second, Prince Fatty Presents Hollie Cook in Dub, is a superb dub album done in collaboration with Michael Pelanconi aka Prince Fatty. Her third studio album Twice is also recommended. Cook's mother Jeni was a backing singer for Culture Club, and Boy George is her godfather.
