Rollins Band was an American rock band formed 1987 in Los Angeles, California by singer and songwriter Henry Rollins. After splitting from Black Flag Rollins formed the band's initial lineup with his friend guitarist Chris Haskett, bassist Bernie Wandel and drummer Mick Green. Their music was similar to Black Flag's but more geared towards heavy metal. They scored immediate success with the hits songs "Low Self Opinion" and "Liar", which got heavy airplay on MTV in the early-mid 1990. over their five year lifespan they released nine studio albums which were consistently good, plus several excellent live recordings. Outstanding albums include Lifetime, The End of Silence, Weight, A Nicer Shade of Red and The Only Way to Know For Sure (live).
