The Negro Problem is an American rock band formed 1990 in Los Angeles, California led by Mark "Stew" Stewart. The lineup is Stew and Heidi Rodewald supported by guest musicians. The band plays funk melodic rock and has provided the music for a number of stage presentations. Stew has also released solo albums working with Heidi as collaborator. Outstanding albums include Post Minstrel Syndrome, Joys & Concerns and Making It.
