Consorzio Suonatori Indipendenti (CSI) is an Italian art rock band formed 1992 by Giovanni Lindo Ferretti and Massimo Zamboni, formerly of the band CCCP Fedeli alla linea. The core duo added Giorgio Cabanali (guitar), Francesco Magnelli (keyboards) and Gianni Moroccolo (bass), all previously with the Italian Goth band Litfiba. CSI folded in 2000 after releasing three studio albums and some great live works. Their debut album Ko de Mondo from '94 is excellent and the follow-up Linea Gotica from '96 is a superb work. Other standouts include Tabula rasa elettrificata, the live La terra, la guerra, una questione privata and the compilation Noi non ci saremo Vol.1.
