Chris Robinson Brotherhood is an American psych-rock band formed 2011 in Los Angeles, California, by Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson. Also in the lineup are fellow Black Crowes member Adam MacDougall, Neal Casal, Ryan Adams, Mark Dutton and George Sluppic. Robinson formed the band as an experiment while the Crowes were on hiatus, but they have stayed together and, to-date, recorded six consistently good studio albums and countless live albums. Robinson names Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh and Bob Weir as both musical inspirations and friends, and CRB's style reflects the laid-back psychedelic country jam style of the 'Dead. Standout albums include Big Moon Ritual, The Magic Door, Servants of the Sun and the live album Betty's S.F. Blends Volume One.
