Feature Artists Imperial Triumphant

Imperial Triumphant is simultaneously one of the most difficult acts to recommend, but also one of the most rewarding.

But with an act like IT, it makes the crate digging and endless screen time all worth it. This is a band oozing with ideas. They’re fully willing to commit to technical passages that you can’t bang your head to, to make then pure noise to try and move/frighten you as much as possible.

‘An Evening With Imperial Triumphant’ sees the band perform their 2020 record ‘Alphaville’ in full with a more stripped-back sound. It shows off their instrumental prowess without compromising on the intensity. Highlights include 'Atomic Age', 'Alphaville' & 'The Greater Good'.

Without over-explaining, the band's genius lies in the manipulation of black metal atmospheres away from the genre's signature satanic theatre and sense of impending doom and directs it towards the impending potential nuclear annihilation of society through an art deco aesthetic/militia cult.

Avant-garde black metal is not everyone’s cup of tea. It lies in the iceberg underneath, metal, then black metal, thus likely isolating potential fans long before they’re graced with their work.

Essential for the fans of heavy music.
