Basement Jaxx is an English electronic music duo formed 1994 in London by Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. The pair got their name from the regular night club they held in their hometown of Brixton. They House and Electronic dance music, and were very big in the late '80s on the rave and club circuit. Outstanding albums include Remedy, Rooty and Kish Kash.
