Brand New is an American emo rock band formed 2000 in Long Island, New York by Jesse Lacey (vocals, guitar), Vincent Accardi (guitar, vocals, piano), Garrett Tierney (bass), and Brian Lane (drums). Derrick Sherman (guitar, piano) was also a member over the period 2005-13. Brand New have been recognized as one of the most beloved and important bands of the emo genre. Their second album release Deja entendu got favourable reviews and that was followed by the excellent The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me album in 2006. Other outstanding releases include Daisy, Leaked Demos and Science Fiction.
