Kim Salmon is an Australian rock musician and songwriter born 1957 in Bunbury, Western Australia. He was singer and guitarist for punk/psych band Scientists in the 70s-80's then formed Kim Salmon and the Surrealists, and the band Salmon. He also played in Beasts of Bourbon for a time and formed the duo The Darling Downs with Ron Peno from Died Pretty. Salmon has released many outstanding albums including; Just Because You Can't See It... Doesn't Mean It Isn't There, Sin Factory and Grand Unifying Theory, by Kim Salmon & The Surrealists, the eponymously named Salmon, and the solo album My Script.
