Sharon Van Etten is an American singer-songwriter and actress born 1981 in New Jersey. Van Etten produced her first homemade recordings in 2009 and was soon signed to Ba Da Bing Records, where she worked as a Publicist. Her sound is strongly harmonic and has overtones of traditional folk music. She has appeared as an actress in the series The OA and in one episode of Twin Peaks. Outstanding albums include Epic, Are We There, Tramp and Remind Me Tomorrow.
