Thomas Dybdahl is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born 1979 in Sandnes, Norway. Some critics have compared his sound to Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley. Dybdahl started his music career as guitarist for the band Quadraphonics before forming a new band The National Bank, as well as working as a solo artist in parallel. Dybdahl started out strong with his excellent debut album That Great October Sound, followed by three equally excellent albums culminating with the superb Science from 2006. In decribing his work, reviewers use terms such as "hauntingly Beautiful", "autumnal" and "Warm melancholic". To-date he has released nine studio albums, as well a several excellent EPs and Singles. Standout albums include That Great October Sound, One Day You'll Dance For Me New York City, Science, and his 2020 release Fever.
