The Slow Rush is the fourth studio album from the Kevin Parker masterminded group Tame Impala. It is the long-awaited follow-up to the international breakthrough Currents (2015), which took the band to headliner status across the globe, and into the class of new rock gods. The Slow Rush revolves around the concept of time and change, of which explains the lengthy delay between records, but the end product is immense, as the man gives us another set of enjoyable, well-produced songs that layer classic and contemporary influences that are helplessly enjoyable. "Lost in Yesterday" and "Breathe Deeper" are personal favourites, but it has something for everyone from front to back, and comes highly recommended for all listeners.
