The complete recording sessions of Bauhaus' classic goth anthem "Bela Lugosi's Dead" plus previously unreleased tracks. Recorded 26 January 1979 at Beck Studios Gisburne Road, Wellingborough, UK, The Bela Session captures the first time Bauhaus recorded together, just six weeks after forming as a band. "Bela Lugosi's Dead" was originally released by Small Wonder Records, Sept 1979. "Harry" originally released by Beggars Banquet Feb 1982. "Some Faces", "Bite My Hip" and "Boys" previously unreleased. Mastered in 2018 from the original tape by Mandy Parnell at Black Saloon Studios. Written by Bauhaus: Peter Murphy (vocal), Daniel Ash (guitar), Kevin Haskins (drums) and David J (bass).
