Bunny Wailer | Artist
Neville O'Riley Livingston, OM, aka Bunny Wailer, is a Jamaican roots reggae singer songwriter and percussionist born 1947 in Kingston, Jamaica. Bunny was an original member of reggae group The Wailers along with Bob Marley and Peter Tosh. A three-time Grammy award winner, he is considered one of the longtime standard-bearers of reggae music. Of the original Wailers, Bunny was arguably the least prominent but his vocal harmonies gave the group their characteristic sound. He was also the most devout Rastafarian and this spiritual influence shows through in his music. His 1976 debut solo album Blackheart Man is superb, and Sings The Wailers and Rock 'n' Groove are also outstanding releases.
