Come was an American alternative rock band, formed 1990 in Boston by Thalia Zedek (vocals, guitar), Chris Brokaw (guitar, vocals), Arthur Johnson (drums) and Sean O'Brien (bass). Brokaw was previously with the cult slowcore band Codeine, and Zedek was with Live Skull and, before that, Dangerous Birds. Come's sound is a noise rock-slowcore hybrid with elements of punk and blues. One reviewer likened the music to "the sound of two guitars having violent sex". They recorded four studio albums and broke up in 1999. All four albums are excellent: Eleven: Eleven, Don't Ask Don't Tell, Near Life Experience, and Gently Down the Stream.
