Edward Ka-Spel is an English singer/songwriter and musician born 1954 in London and now residing in Nijmegen, Netherlands. He is best known for his work with the band The Legendary Pink Dots, which he co-founded. He is also known for his work on The Tear Garden with cEvin Key of Skinny Puppy and his recent collaboration with Amanda Palmer. Ka-Spel is also a prolific recording artist, with 45 solo albums currently released. His music ranges from abstract electronic noise to more traditional pop songs incorporating psychedelic, industrial and experimental elements. Outstanding albums include Khataclimici China Doll (1988), Tanith and the Lion Tree (1991), Red Letters (2000), Pieces of Infinity (2004) and Dream Logik X (A Small Voyage In Three Parts) from 2008.
