Mount Eerie | Artist

Mount Eerie is the working name of Phil Elverum, born 1978 in Anacortes, Washington. Elverum, who was previously in The Microphones, is the principal member of the band, but has collaborated with other musicians for recordings and live performances. His sparse sound using acoustic instruments is described as Avant-Folk with psychedelic influences. Outstanding albums include Lost Wisdom, Dawn: Winter Journal, Wind's Poem, and the excellent recent releases 2017's A Crow Looked at Me and the 2018 live album (after).
