Neneh Mariann Karlsson aka Neneh Cherry, is a Swedish singer-songwriter, rapper, DJ and broadcaster born 1964 in Stockholm. Cherry's background is Jazz and she blends Jazz, Dub, Rap and Pop music styles. Her stepfather was Jazz musician Don Cherry. Outstanding albums include Homebrew, The Cherry Thing and Broken Politics.
